history

DUBUS was initially the name of a West Berlin group of radio amateurs that was founded in 1971 and was committed to the experimental nature of amateur radio. This group initially published an information sheet , the DUBUS information , which was originally only intended as a literature review. From this issue, the magazine DUBUS developed with increasing circulation, which was initially given to interested parties free of charge. It is remarkable that radio amateurs from all Eastern Bloc countries - with the exception of the GDR  - were on the list. In 1988 the editorial team and the publishing house were merged and the DUBUS publishing company was founded, which took over production and sales.
