DVDplus

The DVDplus is a brand of Dieter Dierks .

It is a double-sided disc similar to the DualDisc . It optionally combines the technology of DVD , CD-ROM (data) and CD (audio) in one disc. The patent holder of the format is the German sound engineer and record producer Dieter Dierks. DVD Plus Inc. is the licensor for the DualDisc developed by Sony.

DVDplus is currently available in three versions:

  1. CD / DVD
  2. CD / DVD audio
  3. DVD / ROM

It is possible to produce DVDplus in the DVD successor format Blu-ray (and technically similar media).
