Da Vinci Bank ( English , formerly Vinci bank ) is at least 300 m below sea level lies bank in the Weddell Sea off the coast of the East Antarctic Coats country .

The formation is named at the suggestion of the surveyor and glaciologist Heinrich Hinze from the Alfred Wegener Institute after the Italian polymath Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519). The designation was confirmed in November 2005 by the US Advisory Committee for Undersea Features (ACUF).
