The Rosa-Rugosa hybrid Dagmar Hastrup , synonym 'Fru Dagmar Hastrup', 'Frau Dagmar Hastrup' or 'Fru Dagmar Hartopp', was bred by the Danish breeder Poulsen in 1914 and sold by Wayside Gardens in the USA from 1934. The variety grows about 60 cm high, covers all areas, blooms remontantly with unfilled, fragrant, pink flowers and forms large red rose hips in autumn .

On lime-rich soils, grafted rose plants are preferable, otherwise the variety can also be used without roots.
