Dagmar Piesker
Dagmar Piesker (* 1943 in Königshütte ) is a German ceramic artist .
life and work
Dagmar Piesker completed an apprenticeship in ceramics from 1962 to 1965 and studied ceramics at the Wiesbaden Free Art School and the Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences . In 1981 she received a scholarship at the "Scuola dell cotto" in Florence . After another study visit to Florence in 1984, she founded the “Centro della Terracotta” there. Since 1980 she has been working as a freelance ceramic artist. She lives and works in Hausen vor der Höhe .
Dagmar Piesker has exhibited her sculptures internationally since 1992, including in the Atelier Kunsthaus Wiesbaden and at works exhibitions in Italy , France , Spain , Israel , Poland , Russia and Slovakia . She has been leading the Art in the Park project since 2001 . Her works have been purchased by the Berlin Ministry of Justice and the Deutsche Bundesbank Frankfurt , among others .
