Dagmar Zoschke (born May 15, 1959 in Bitterfeld ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ).

Life and work

Dagmar Zoschke attended the Helene Lange School in Bitterfeld and graduated from EOS »Ernst-Thälmann« in Bitterfeld. She studied and became a certified history teacher and pioneer leader . Later she did further training to become a state-recognized educator.

She lives in a stable partnership and has one grandchild.

Politics / party

Dagmar Zoschke has been city councilor in Bitterfeld-Wolfen since 1994 and has been chairwoman of the city council there since summer 2014. In 1994 she was also elected to the district council of Anhalt-Bitterfeld for the first time and is chairwoman of the committee for social affairs and health. In 2009 she ran for the mayoral election in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, but failed in the runoff election against the incumbent Petra Wust .

She has been a member of the SED since 1981 or, after the renaming of the PDS, and today of the party Die Linke. In 2010 she was elected to the party's federal executive committee.

In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 2011 , she did not succeed in obtaining the constituency mandate in constituency 29 , but she was elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt via the state list . In the state parliament she is chairwoman of the committee for labor and social affairs.
