Dagne Alemu

Dagne Alemu (born October 15, 1980 in Shewa ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .

In 2000 he came in 14th place at the World Cross Country Championships over the short distance and won silver with the team. At the Olympic Games in Sydney he was sixth over 5000 m .

In the following year he finished 13th at the World Cross Country Championships on the short distance and won bronze with the team.
