The company was founded in 1975 by John Trimble, who still holds a stake in the company today. In 2002 the company made a profit of AUS $ 2 million .
In 2003, the company was divided into a brothel and a real estate company, the resulting real estate company was named Daily Planet Ltd. placed on the stock exchange. Heidi Fleiss was hired for advertising purposes . The income generated by the listing on the stock exchange was used to acquire striptease bars.
In 2004 the participation of Daily Planet Ltd. sold in the brothel business for AUS- $ 5.7 million, the company was renamed Planet Platinum and limited to the stakes in the striptease bars, but this was not implemented.
In 2007, the stock market value of the share fell to a quarter of its initial price. Today the stock is no longer traded.
