As a subsidiary of Daimler AG, Daimler Mobility AG (formerly Daimler Financial Services AG) specializes in finance and mobility solutions. The Daimler Mobility division offers automotive-related financial services through the Mercedes-Benz Bank or foreign companies such as Mercedes-Benz Financial. The product range extends from leasing and financing offers, through the brokerage of insurance, to cross-manufacturer car fleet management under the Athlon brand. On-demand mobility services with app-based mobility solutions such as car sharing, mobility platforms or driving services also represent a central part of today's product portfolio.

As part of the mobility activities of Daimler Mobility, the start of the joint ventures with the BMW Group in the areas of car sharing, ride hailing, parking, charging and multimodality was announced on February 22, 2019.

The company is currently present in 40 countries and employs around 13,000 people worldwide (as of June 30, 2019).

The company emerged from the finance division of debis .
