The Dalfazer waterfall is located on the Achensee in the Austrian state of Tyrol . At 60 meters, it is the highest waterfall in the Rofan Mountains and is one of the tourist attractions in the municipality of Eben am Achensee . It can be reached via the hiking trail from the Ebener locality of Buchau to the Dalfazalm , the walking time is around 45 minutes.
In 2007 the Maurach Tourist Association and the municipality of Eben am Achensee built a wooden viewing platform below the waterfall.
Buchau via ferrata
Immediately next to the Dalfaz waterfall, Stefan Wierer, who was previously involved in setting up the 5-summit via ferrata in the Rofan Mountains, built the Buchau via ferrata in 2011 . This ferrata has a length of about 150 meters and is with the difficulty level D as very difficult .
