Manuel Salustiano Damasceno Monteiro (born May 6, 1818 in São Julião , Lisbon , † 1890 ) was a Portuguese local politician.

He was president of the Câmara Municipal of Lisbon from 1854 to 1858 . A health center in the Graça district is named after Monteiro.

The novel " The Missing Head of Damasceno Monteiro " from 1997 by the Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi has the name of the politician in the title, but otherwise has nothing to do with the person or the politician.
