Dambwa

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dambwa is an archaeological site in Park View, a suburb of Livingstone in Southern Province in Zambia .

The Dambwa finds gave an Iron Age epoch from 900 to 1200 the name Dambwa culture , to which Ingombe Ilede and Kalomo are included in this epoch. It remains unclear how the proven long-distance trade of Ingombe Ilede can be linked to the Tonga culture of this time. In addition, the Dambwa culture is considered to be semi-nomadic, although they were the first arable farmers.

There is also a place Dambwa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo .
