tourism
The city lives mainly from tourism, as it is the starting point for tours to the Victoria Falls and benefits from the offers of the many tour operators in the Zimbabwean Victoria Falls , such as bungee jumping from the railway bridge and white water rafting. Since the deterioration of social conditions in Zimbabwe, there has been a surge in tourism in Livingstone at the expense of Victoria Falls.
In Livingstone is the Livingstone Museum, which was founded in 1930 and also exhibits archaeological finds from Ingombe Ilede from the time of the Munhumutapa Empire .

Livingstone is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Livingstone .
