Damián Martínez
Damián (Damier) Martínez (born August 2, 1979 ) is a retired Cuban cyclist .
Damián Martínez won a stage in the Vuelta a Cuba for the first time in 2002 . In the next he was twice successful, in 2004 he won another stage and was third overall. In the 2005 season he won another stage there and also won the overall standings. He also finished third in the Pan American Championship road race, won a stage at Juegos del Alba and became Cuban road champion. In the overall standings of the UCI America Tour 2005 Martínez finished second behind Edgardo Simón . In the 2007 season he drove for the Continental Team Cinelli-Endeka-OPD until July 18 .
