Strenco steam robot ST2
The model of the ST2, manufactured by Strenco / Strausstoys in Germany since 2006, is a toy robot . It is considered to be the first steam-powered machine that moves on two legs. The housing of the 36 cm tall human-like model is made of painted sheet steel . The steam technology is made from nickel-plated brass parts. A piston operated with steam power sets a drive axle in motion via a flywheel , which engages in the running gear and can thus set the drive of the machine body in motion.
