Daniel Alexander Mintz (* 1981 in Alaska ) is an American comedian , author and voice actor .

Life

Mintz grew up in Anchorage , Alaska, where he also got his first experience as a stand-up comedian .

Mintz began his career as a comedy series writer in 2005 on the MTV crane show Crank Yankers and the Andy Milonakis Show . He later wrote for other series, including Louis CK's sitcom Lucky Louie , the sketch show Human Giant, and Nathan for you . In 2014 his stand-up comedy album Comedy Death-Ray was released .

Since 2011, Mintz has played the character Tina, a thirteen-year-old girl, in the animated series Bob's Burgers .

He lives in Los Angeles , California .
