Dan Potthast

Dan Potthast (born 1972 in St. Louis , USA) is an American singer.

Life

Potthast is the singer of the ska-punk- rock band MU330, which was founded in 1988 . With this he played over 1,800 concerts around the world, including in America, Canada, Hawaii, Europe, Russia, Japan and even Korea.

In 1999 he decided to follow in the footsteps of Chris Murray , under the label Asian Man Records , to release a solo album with the title Eyeballs . This album impresses with its simplicity with the handling of acoustic guitar sounds and Dan's powerful voice.

In 2002 the second album Sweets and Meets was released with the support of Lance Reynold and James Rickmann. This album also shines with the special singing voice and offers not only electronic rock but also ska elements.

Dan Potthast also produced the soundtrack for Matthias Lehmann's film "Doppelpack".

A third album is in the works.
