Dan Zahavi

Dan Zahavi (born November 6, 1967 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish philosopher . He is currently Professor of Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen and Director of the Center for Subjectivity Studies at the National Research Foundation of Denmark. His research focus is on phenomenology and the philosophy of consciousness following Edmund Husserl . Zahavi is co-editor of the journal Phenomenology and the Cognitive Sciences and former president of the Nordic Society for Phenomenology.
