Danesh ( Persian : دانش; DMG : Dāneš ; German : "Knowledge") was a Persian-language women's magazine that was published in Tehran . It appeared weekly from 1910 to 1911 (1328–1329 ) in a total of 30 issues. The editor was the wife of a Dr. Hosseyn Khan (Kahal) and daughter of Yaqub Jadid al-Eslam Hamadani. Her own name is not known. Danesh was also Iran's first magazine to be published only for women. Political topics were not part of the content, but mainly domestic news that interested women at the time. Articles on topics such as education and child-rearing were also published, as well as the chapters of a serial novel.

A freely accessible online version of the first eight issues of the journal is in the digital collections of the University and State Library of Bonn .
