Dani Siciliano

Dani Siciliano (* in Sierra Vista , Arizona ) is an American musician and DJ . She was best known for her collaboration with her former husband Matthew Herbert .

Life

Dani Siciliano grew up in Arizona and later in San Francisco after her Army father was transferred there. As a child she took clarinet lessons, among other things.

She later studied at the University of Richmond , where she was a member of a small jazz band and occasionally performed in cafes. After returning to San Francisco, she also performed as a DJ .

In 1995 she met Matthew Herbert in San Francisco and began recording her first songs with him in 1997. In 1998 Herbert's album Around The House was released , on which Siciliano contributed the vocals to five pieces. Siciliano later moved to London and married Herbert. She also contributed the vocals to the subsequent Herbert album Bodily Functions . In 2004 Siciliano's solo album Likes ... was released . The second solo album Slappers followed in 2006.

Siciliano has now separated from Herbert.
