Daniel Ayala Pérez
Daniel Ayala Pérez (born July 21, 1906 in Abalá , Yucatán , † June 20, 1975 in Xalapa ) was a Mexican composer .
Ayala Pérez studied at the Conservatory of Mérida and the Conservatory of Mexico City, where he later taught himself. From 1942 to 1955 he directed the Yucatán Symphony Orchestra (Banda Sinfónica de Yucatán).
He composed a symphonic poem , five orchestral suites , a work for chamber ensemble and Indian percussion, chamber music and piano works, cantatas in the Mayan language and songs .
