Daniel C. Maguire

Daniel C. Maguire is an American Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Maguire studied Roman Catholic theology . He taught Roman Catholic theology at the University of Notre Dame and later at Marquette University as a college professor . In 1984 he signed the A Catholic Statement on Pluralism and Abortion campaign that appeared in the New York Times . He has been president of The Religious Consultation on Population, Reproductive Health and Ethics since 1994 . As an author of over 10 books and a theologian, he has appeared on various US television and radio shows.
