Back to Earth is the first studio album from the Swedish music project Caligola . It was released on March 2, 2012 after the hit single Forgive Forget . On November 30th, 2012 Caligola released a remake of the album entitled Back to Earth - Resurrection , which contained 8 more songs in addition to the original 15 tracks.

Konrad Spremberg reviewed the album for Plattentests.de . He thinks that Caligola has little to do with Mando Diao , both ideologically and musically , although their protagonists Björn Dixgård and Gustaf Norén denied the promotion of the album with interviews in Germany. Spremberg characterizes the style of the album as a colorful mixture of rock, soul, hiphop, dance beats and jazz, which drawer lovers would describe as neo-crossover.
Thomas Winkler from Musikexpress reviewed the album in the March 2012 issue with the conclusion: “Someone has great courage. If postmodernism hadn't been in the museum for a long time, Caligola would have invented it now. "
Kai Butterweck from Laut.de describes the album as diverse and multifaceted, innovative, exciting and always good for a surprise. His conclusion: "Crossover has seldom sounded so refreshing and unattractive as here".
