Daniel Katz (born November 25, 1938 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish-Jewish author and freelancer.

Life

Daniel Katz studied humanities at the University of Helsinki . Subsequently, worked in a wide variety of activities and was, among other things, demolition master in tunnel construction, music editor, actor, interpreter and journalist. He lived in Israel for a few years.

He has been a freelance writer since 1968, his works have been translated into numerous languages ​​and have received numerous awards. He writes in Finnish.

Katz has four children, including the musician Kalle Katz.
