Daniel Müllensiefen

Daniel Müllensiefen (* 1971 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German music psychologist who has worked in various positions at Goldsmiths, University of London since 2006 .

Life

Müllensiefen studied in Hamburg at the University of Hamburg and at the University of Salamanca , the subjects musicology , music history and journalism . After graduating, he worked as a freelance consultant and product manager for the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft, among others . In 2005 he received his doctorate from the University of Hamburg. The following year he went to London , where he has been working at the University of London since 2009, including in the Faculty of Psychology at Goldsmiths. Since September 2010 he has been Scientist in Residence at the London branch of the advertising agency DDB Worldwide .
