Daniel Mylow

Daniel Mylow (born August 19, 1964 in Stuttgart ) is a German writer who has lived on Lake Constance on the Höri peninsula since July 2018 and has been teaching German, history and ethics as well as lecturing literature at the VHS in Überlingen / Lake Constance since 2018 Bodenseekreis teaches.

life and work

After stays in Hanover, Düsseldorf, Willich, Berlin and Krefeld, studied German, philosophy and psychology in Bonn and Marburg. After working as a publishing editor, training as a Waldorf teacher in Kassel from 2002. From 2004 to 2009 teaching in Hof and Wernstein. From 2009 to summer 2018 senior teacher in Marburg, training as a poetry teacher at the IKS Berlin and Karlsruhe. Lecturer for literature and creative writing at the VHS Chemnitz and VHS Marburg as well as VHS Bodenseekreis. In 2004 the book of stories In the Garden of the Magician - Tango Tales was published by nada-Verlag, Kastl and in 2017 the novel Rotes Moor by Cocon-Verlag, Hanau. Around 150 texts have appeared in literary magazines and anthologies at home and abroad. Daniel Mylow received numerous awards for his short prose and poetry, currently participant in the text workshop of the literary house Darmstadt with Kurt Drawert. The novel Greisenkind was last published in January 2020 .
