Daniel Nipkow (born March 14, 1954 ) is a former Swiss sports shooter .
successes
Daniel Nipkow became vice world champion with the air rifle in Santo Domingo in 1981 . He competed at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles with a small bore rifle in a three-position battle over 50 meters. In this competition he scored 396 points lying down, 386 points on his knees and 381 points standing up, so he got a total of 1163 points. He achieved ten points less than Malcolm Cooper , who became Olympic champion , and thus received the silver medal before third-placed Alister Allan .
