Daniel Ruiz-Bazán Justa , Dani for short (born June 28, 1951 ) is a former Spanish - Basque football player .
Career
Dani started his career in Athletic Bilbao's second team . He made the leap into the club's professional team in 1974 after a brief stint at FC Barakaldo . In the following twelve years Dani completed 302 appearances for his club and scored 147 goals. He was an integral part of the 1983 and 1984 championship teams.
From 1977 to 1981 he was a Spanish national soccer player and took part in the 1978 World Cup in Argentina and the 1980 European Championship in Italy . Dani scored 10 goals in 25 internationals.
