Daniel Sabathy

Daniel Sabathy (born June 6, 1967 ) is a former Swiss floorball coach .

biography

Sabathy's career in floorball began with the Winterthur club UHC Winterthur-Eulach , later he moved to UHC Sulz-Rickenbach . In 1993 he became the first coach of HC Rychenberg Winterthur , where he remained the coach until 1997. During his tenure, the HCR won the 1996 Cup. Then he moved to the record champions Rot-Weiss Chur . During the 1998 World Cup in Prague , when Switzerland reached a World Cup final for the last time, he worked as an assistant coach for the Swiss national floorball team , also at the 2000 World Cup in Oslo (3rd place). With Chur he became Swiss champion in 1998, 2000 and 2001. After the last championship title, he moved back to his hometown for the HCR. He stayed there for a season until he ended his career for professional reasons. He graduated from the ETH as a qualified scientist and now works for a consulting company.
