Daniela Drescher (2008)

Daniela Drescher (born November 2, 1966 in Munich ) is a German children's book illustrator and author.

Professional background

Daniela Drescher studied art therapy and then worked for ten years in painting therapy with children in her own private practice. During this time Drescher wrote numerous poems that were successfully used in painting therapy. She illustrated some of these poems for her own children and in 2004 she wrote her first picture book. The success of this book encouraged her to devote herself entirely to this work from now on. All books are available in several languages.

Private

Daniela Drescher is married to the freelance artist, author and art therapist Jens Drescher. They have four children together.
