Daniela Rossek

Daniela Rossek (born December 18, 1976 in Waren an der Müritz ) was one of the best wheelchair fencers in Germany and internationally.

Career

Before her time as a fencer, she was a track and field athlete for many years and drove a racing wheelchair, but also competed in triathlons and as a handbiker in various city marathons.

She began wheelchair fencing in 2001 and was appointed to the German A-squad of German wheelchair fencers after the World Cup in April 2002. In 2008 she announced her resignation from international fencing.

Life

Daniela Rossek has a daughter, Perla Atena (born June 7, 2005). She lives in her hometown Waren an der Müritz. She is a trained media designer.
