Daniele Gaglianone

Daniele Gaglianone (born November 4, 1966 in Ancona ) is an Italian film director and documentary filmmaker .

Life

Gaglianone graduated from the University of Turin in film history and criticism and has worked for the “Archivio Nazionale della Resistenza” since 1991. He appeared as a documentarist and short film maker; between 1990 and 2000 he created around thirty works, some in collaboration with Monica Affatato and Luciano D'Onofrio . Then Gaglianone shot his first full-length feature film that illuminated the partisan struggle in World War II , I nostri anni . His second work, Nemmeno il destino , premiered at the 2004 Biennale . After documentaries - including the award -winning Rata nece biti -, theater work and a CD project, Pietro was released in 2010 , his third feature film. It was shown at the Munich Film Festival in 2011 and was awarded the Freetadt City Prize at the Heimatfilmfestival in 2015.
