Daniella Geldner

Daniella Geldner (born March 29, 1966 ) is German champion of correspondence chess women . She also won the German Correspondence Chess Championship .

By profession a teacher, Geldner began correspondence chess in 1994. She qualified for the German Women's Correspondence Chess Championship (DFFSM) ahead of Silvia Schmidt . In May 2000 she won the 18th DFFSM with 12.5 points from 14 games. At the end of 2005 she was the first woman to win the 33rd German Correspondence Chess Championship with 11.5 points from 14 games.

Geldner lives in Loerrach . She played with the SG Schopfheim team in the 2nd Correspondence Chess Bundesliga.

In the ICCF rankings she was listed in January 2005 with a rating of 2512 and has not been active since then.
