Daouda Bangoura

Daouda Bangoura (born April 29, 1968 ) is a former Guinean football player .

Bangoura came to Rot-Weiss Essen from NK Dubrava Zagreb in 1991 , where he initially played in the second team. In the first team he played 82 games (15 goals), including 31 games in the 2nd Bundesliga (6 goals). In 1992 he became German amateur champion with Rot-Weiss Essen . In the 1992/93 season he was with RWE champions of the Oberliga Nordrhein and rose to the second division. Bangoura also scored the only goal in Essen in the 1994 DFB Cup final in a 3-1 draw against Werder Bremen . Overall, he scored four goals in six games for Rot-Weiss Essen in the DFB Cup. In the following season 1994/95 he played for TuS Paderborn-Neuhaus in the Regionalliga West / Südwest .
