Daphne Walker (* unknown; † unknown) was a British figure skater who started in a single run .
In 1938 she played her first European and World Championships and finished them in tenth and seventh place respectively. At the last European Championship before World War II , she won the bronze medal in 1939 behind her compatriots Cecilia Colledge and Megan Taylor . She also succeeded in doing this at the World Cup in 1939 , this time before Taylor and Hedy Stenuf , as Colledge had to cancel due to injury. After seven years of no tournaments due to the break in the world war, she returned in 1947, became British champion and defended her bronze medal from 1939 at the European Championships in Davos in 1947 behind Barbara Ann Scott and Gretchen Merrill . At the first world championship after the break in the world war, she was even runner-up behind Scott and ahead of Merrill in Stockholm .
