Daphniphyllum alkaloids are natural substances of the triterpene alkaloid type.
Occurrence
Daphniphyllum alkaloids come among others. a. in the bark and leaves of the Japanese Yuzuriha tree ( Daphniphyllum macropodum ). So far 33 alkaloids have been isolated from this tree.
Representative
The representatives include a. Daphniphylline , daphniphyllidine . Yuzurimin and Yuzurin also belong to this alkaloid group.

Extracts from the trunk and leaves of the Yuzuriha tree have been used as a remedy for asthma since ancient times.
