Darin Perry Binning (born May 5, 1966 in Rock Springs , Wyoming ) is a former American biathlete .
Career
Binning first appeared at the 1987 national biathlon championships when the US champion was over 20 kilometers. At the subsequent North American championships in the same year, he competed in individual races over 10 and 20 kilometers. He reached places five and seven. Binning also took part in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary . In the individual competition over 20 kilometers was the 42nd the relay competition he finished with his teammates Lyle Nelson , Curt Schreiner and Josh Thompson in ninth place.
After retiring, Binning settled in his hometown of Pinedale , Wyoming.
