Pinedale is a city and county seat of Sublette County in the US state of Wyoming .
geography
The city of Pinedale is located in the center of a high mountain valley on the west side of the continental divide in western Wyoming. The Pine Creek , a tributary of the Green River , which flows through the village. Pine Creek is dammed 4 km north of Pinedale to form Fremont Lake . To the northwest of the city is the Jackson Hole Valley , Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Teton National Park .
