Darwin Nieves , full name Darwin Daniel Nieves Vagnoni , (born June 24, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.90-meter-tall goalkeeper Nieves was a member of the youth team at least 2007 and later on from the 2011/12 season at the latest in the first division squad of Liverpool Montevideo . During that season he ran once in the Primera División . In March 2012 he moved to the Chilean club Fernández Vial . There he played 18 games in the Segunda División and scored one goal. At the end of January 2013, he joined the Uruguayan second division club Huracán FC . In the 2013/14 season he completed twelve matches in the Segunda División at the Montevideo-based club, including his last appearance on December 15, 2013 . In the 2014/15 season, neither appearances nor a squad were recorded in professional football. In the 2015/16 season he will be part of the ranks of the Chilean second division club Municipal Mejillones . There he was used three times in the Segunda División. At the beginning of July 2016, he moved to Universidad O&M FC in the Dominican Republic .

National team

Nieves was a member of the Uruguayan U-17 national team and was part of the squad at the 2007 U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador .
