The maple leaf , originally La feuille d'érable ou Les pioneers du Saint-Laurent , is a Canadian television series .

This series was written around 1970 based on a script by Marie Desmarais for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and was broadcast in 13 parts between December 28, 1971 and December 27, 1973. The directors were Gilles Carle , Jean-Louis Colmant, Aimée Danis and others. a. responsible; for the music of Gilles Vigneault .

This series was dubbed in German between October 29 and December 17, 1980 in DFF2 ; In 1985 it was repeated by RTL . Of the 13 parts of the original, only eight were dubbed and only these were ever broadcast in Germany.
