The concept was a Swiss magazine that was founded in 1972 by the Association of Swiss Student Unions together with the student bodies of the University of Zurich and the ETH Zurich and existed until 1982. The magazine initially replaced the impulse as a supplement to the Zürcher Student magazine (now the Zürcher Studentenzeitung ).
The concept first appeared 8 times a year, then 9 times a year, and finally monthly, in 11 years: from year 1 (1972/73) to year 11 (1981/82); the last number was number 103 from February 1982.
The publishing association of Das Konzept was transferred to the infolink cooperative, which is the sponsor of the weekly newspaper WOZ .
