The Korn is an art project started in 2008 by Theo Ligthart in cooperation with the Prussian Spirituosen Manufaktur and the distillery in Sellendorf, Brandenburg . It is a high-quality grain brandy that, in its original version, is aged for six months in earthenware barrels.

In addition, since 2015 there has been a variant made from grain stored for five years in Pinot Blanc , Chardonnay and sweet wine barrels, as well as toasted barrels made from Spessart oak. The result can also be called whiskey .

The bottles for Das Korn are made by the French glass refiner Saverglass .
