The Standesamt is a German-language specialist journal for civil registry , family law , citizenship law , civil status law and international private law at home and abroad.
history
This legal trade journal with the title Zeitschrift für Standesamtwesen emerged from the previous journals Der Standesbeamte (from 1875) and Das Standesamt (from 1915). From the beginning, it was not limited to pure civil status law, but also devoted itself to the adjacent legal areas of family law and then also to nationality law. The subtitle, the current version of which the magazine has had since 1983, documents the growing importance that reporting on foreign and international law has acquired for legal practice as a result of the internationalization of living conditions. The magazine is internationally distributed and appears monthly with approx. 32 pages by the Verlag für Standesamtwesen .
Content
The journal contains articles from science and practice, court decisions , reports from civil practice, laws and other material on foreign law as well as German laws, ordinances and edicts on the areas it deals with .
How to quote
