The happy dozen is a children's choir from Bad Nenndorf in Lower Saxony . The happy dozen has been a project by the German children's songwriter Jürgen Albrecht since 1978 . It has sung over 900 concerts in 17 countries. The members are mostly between 10 and 20 years old and sing at city and street festivals. Nine CDs were released, including a gold record . So far around 140 children have been involved in the project, the youngest was two years old.
