The secret Dinoversum
The secret Dinoversum is a British youth book series , which is published under the author group pseudonym Rex Stone with the English original title "Dinosaur Cove" .
The current 24 English and 18 German volumes (as of January 2013) deal with the children in January Mertens (Engl. Jamie Morgan) and Tim Cramer (Engl. Thomas "Tom" Clay), one in each band journey through time to the era of dinosaurs company where the Wannanosaurus Wanna plays a central role. The stories always begin in the present day. A cave allows you to jump back in time to dinosaur times, and that's where the adventures take place. In the course of their adventures, they travel to all epochs in the history of the earth in which dinosaurs appeared. The protagonists use an ammonite from the Triassic , Jurassic or Cretaceous periods , depending on the target epoch .
The first German volume appeared in 2009 with the subtitle "Die Attacke des Tyrannosaurus " (original "Attack of the Lizard King" , 2008).
In addition to the main series, the series The Secret Dinoversum Xtra has been appearing since 2017 . These are shortened editions of the books that are specifically intended for novice readers or for reading aloud. These books are illustrated in color by Kaja Reinki . The book titles have changed slightly.
