The talking book
The speaking book was a series of young people's books published by Tessloff Verlag in the 1970s. A small record player that could be operated mechanically via a pull-out elastic band was built into each publication and could play an enclosed record .
From the series, four different publications with fairytale stories were published, such as Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten (Volume 1 of the series), Die goldene Gans (Volume 2, 1974), The speaking sea rabbit (Volume 3, 1974) and The white cat (Volume 4, 1974) .
