The data loading or the loading of data records means a correction of data by further parameters in order to e.g. B. to increase their accuracy.

The shipping channels z. B. the mouths of the Weser and Elbe are regularly measured by the responsible waterways and shipping authorities with regard to the water depth. Since these flow regions ( estuaries ), however, strongly tidebeeinflusst are the respective time of measurement Tidestände need to be removed from the water depth measurement data so that it to a certain reference plane (z. B. SKN or NHN ) can be obtained. This process of data correction is also called loading.
