The Datong District ( Chinese  大同 区 , Pinyin Dàtóng Qū ) is a municipality in the Chinese province of Heilongjiang . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Daqing . Datong has an area of ​​2,235 km² and has a population of around 250,000 (2004).
