The Dauner & Dunaris GmbH & Co.KG in the Mary Help of road in Daun is a beverage company with mineral spring . The distribution takes place in the area of the Vulkaneifel and mostly in Rhineland-Palatinate .
history
In 1900 the haulier Franz Groß obtained the rights to use the numerous mineral springs in the Liesertal economically. On October 16, 1925, the well operation was foreclosed and taken over by the Daun District Court for 40,000 gold marks . Shortly afterwards, the well operation was taken over by the three merchant families Groß, Hommes and Schneider, one third each and continued under the name Dauner Sprudel KG, O. Hommes & Co. Jean Groß became managing director. In the 1930s, the company suffered from the Great Depression . In 1938 Dauner Sprudel KG, O. Hommes & Co. founded several branches in Cologne and Duisburg .
On May 22, 1945 operations were resumed after the end of the Second World War , as operations had been spared from bombing raids. In 1966 Walter Groß took over the business. In 1986 the forerunner of today's design was introduced. Walter Groß died on April 30, 1997. Karl-Heinz Groß became the new managing director. At his own request, Karl-Heinz Groß left the company on September 1, 2009.
The company, which last had 32 employees, was declared bankrupt in October 2014. In March March 2015 it was taken over by investors who continue to operate it under the name "Dauner & Dunaris Quellen GmbH & Co. KG" with 25 employees.
