Dave Anderson (musician)

Dave Anderson (* 1949 ) is a British musician.

He was bass player with Amon Düül II around 1970 and switched to Hawkwind in 1971 , where he was soon replaced by Lemmy Kilmister . In the 1980s he was with some Hawkwind spin-offs, e.g. B. with Nik Turner's Inner City Unit or with Robert Calvert's band , but also made several albums with the Groundhougs in the late 1980s . In the years after 2000 he worked again with Nik Turner in his band Space Ritual .

In the 1970s he also founded the Foel Studio, where he produced numerous albums and singles, in addition to productions from the aforementioned bands, as well as those from u. a. Scritti Politti , Mother Gong and Mandragora .
